What can I not say about Terry, he’s everything I need in a sitter. If I can go beyond 5 stars, I would! Terry’s place is VERY VERY CLEAN and he creates a wonderful environment for your furry little ones. He doesn’t just watch your little one, he takes WONDERFUL care of them. He puts phenomenal effort in caring for your doggie and KNOWS what he’s doing. Terry and his team are very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for dogs and creates a fun, non-stressful environment. This you cannot and will not find in ANY boarding place when it comes to your furry one. Very accommodating and flexible; and he was able to give great advise when it came to Noah. Terry is simply AMAZING!!!! From the moment I met him, I knew that he was the only person for my pack. His experience and expertise are unmatched, and I’m so incredibly happy to have him care for my crew when I’m away. He has shown great compassion and empathy for one of my dogs that suffers from being slightly crazy. To say that I recommend Terry would be an understatement…HE IS TOP NOTCH!!! ONLY CHOICE!!! Terry is beyond wonderful. We had an emergency situation come up while we were out of town, and he was very accommodating. The meet and greet went over very well, so the dogs were accustomed to him before they went to his place. Dogs had a great, relaxing, and playful time while at his house.

We boarded our dogs, Ruby and Lily, with Terry. He understands dogs very well... He even gave us some pointers for our dogs’ well-being. Terry took great care of my pups. After the initial meet and greet, I felt very comfortable that Terry would make sure the dogs transitioned to his routine with care. The fenced area for their outdoor time was very clean, and the dogs were immediately at ease wandering around. The indoor kennel area was clean as well and definitely had a spa-like environment to keep the dogs quiet and calm. I would recommend Terry and his team to any and everyone!

Terrence did a great job taking care of our dog, Maisie. He provided updates as to how she was doing while we were away, and she came home one happy dog.

Our Olaf and Jezabel stayed with Terry for 8 days. They came back smelling lovely and very calm and rested. Highly recommended in a safe and spa-like environment.

Terry is amazing! This was our first time using Rover, and we won the jackpot. Our two dogs stayed with Terry for four nights, one of our dogs being an 8-month-old puppy and his first time using a pet hotel. Terry took time during our meet and greet to show his hotel, explain his background, and the services provided at the hotel. He even gave us some training tips for our dogs that helped them behave better.

We love Terry! He keeps our dog happy and safe, definitely it’s the best and only place we can leave our dog to stay when we need to be away.

We left our 2 shih tzus with Terry for a full month. Having never left them for that long before, I was very nervous. Terry was very professional and went out of his way to help put me at ease. We came back to happy dogs!

Terry was great. Cocoa loved her 11 day stay at Terry’s. Cocoa “was” a fussy eater and Terry made sure she ate during her stay with his techniques and was kind enough to share them with us, now she is not a fussy eater anymore. Terry is a sort of person who genuinely loves dogs and cares for them. If you just want a dog hotel, you can find lot of other places. But if you want a quiet, safe dog hotel where your dog is well taken care of, The Dog Balancing Hotel is the place!

Dogs came home calm, happy, and clean

We were nervous leaving our dog here for almost 2 weeks but she came back happier than ever! Terry has helped us become better puppy parents! Our dog is pretty nervous and shy but she loves seeing Terry now! He knows dogs.

We have used Terry in the past for our Boxer pup, and this past time he also took in our small Yorkie. It is always hard to leave your loved ones when going out of town, but we knew our fur babies were in good hands. Terry takes great pride and passion in his business and ensures that the dogs have a holiday as well when they are with him. We appreciate the structure and attention they get. Much like our past experiences, the dogs came home relaxed and better behaved. Terry is great with training and reading dogs. We always appreciate his tips and insights on doggy care. 5 stars once again! We just got back from 2 weeks of travel. We left our Tulip with Terry again. She’s a rescue who is VERY shy around people and wants to be with us all the time. But Terry knows dogs and is able to put her completely at ease. When we picked her up, she was delighted to see us but not in a hurry to leave. I think the difference is he is a professional dog trainer. He was great with our last dog too, though she was mellow, unlike Tulip, who can be a bit of a terrior. Highly recommend.

Terrence is the best. I've used others in the past, but none have given me the peace of mind leaving my dog that he does. Simply put, Terrence knows what he's doing. Going forward, I don't know if I could leave my dog with anyone else.

We are so grateful to have met Terry and have him take care of our 1.5-year-old Boxer for a whole week while we were out of the country. He is very knowledgeable about canine behavior and is quite the dog whisperer! We were very impressed by how clean and organized his house is, as well as all of the amenities he has implemented with the dogs' comfort and safety in mind. Booking and communicating with Terry was super easy, and he checked in with us multiple times during the week. 5 Stars!!! 20 Stars!’ Terry is a super star dog caretaker. I appreciate his no-nonsense and dog-compassionate approach to dogs, dogs’ humans, and the facility he offers dogs. His facility is squeaky clean, quiet, temperature-controlled, and scented with calming aroma therapy. As Terry will tell you, his is not just a boarding facility but a dog spa. After our meet and greet, I felt totally confident that Terry was the dog caretaker for us. After my dog stayed there for four nights, I feel absolutely certain about my initial assessment. Terry is a rock star dog caretaker and behavior manager.

Terry is The Best. He knows dogs, but even more importantly, he CARES about dogs. Everything in his Dog Balancing Hotel is designed with his clients' safety, comfort, and happiness in mind. I never have any worries about my dogs when they're with Terry. They're always happy to see him. I know that they'll be well taken care of while I'm away, and that they'll come home healthy and relaxed--just like anyone would after a stay in a five-star hotel. 🙂

Terry was so great with Jezabel and Olaf. He took them in at the last minute, and when I needed to extend their stay another day, there was no hesitation. Both dogs came back home refreshed and not stressed at all. Will definitely recommend Terry to friends.

I left Easton in Terry's care for about two weeks, and I am so glad I did (we went on a neighbor's recommendation)! We recently adopted Easton, a husky-malamute mix, and are still working with him on some issues (bolting, pulling, jumping up, etc.). Terry worked his magic, challenging Easton everyday to "follow the leader" and lessen his pull on the leash. There's a dramatic difference now when I walk Easton- he stops when I stop, goes when I step off, and sits at every corner. Wonderful!!!

I was extremely pleased with the care that Terrence provided to Lucy and Ellie during their stay at Dog Boarding this past week. It was very clear that he not only loves dogs but also understands their behavior and what makes them tick. I appreciated the photos and frequent updates Terrence provided, which reassured me that they were being well cared for during their stay. Lucy and Ellie will be guests at the Dog Balancing Hotel in the future.

Henry clearly had a great time with Terrence. He came back relaxed and happy. The doggy hotel Terrence provides is clean, smells great, and looks like a comfortable place for the pups. I would definitely be comfortable leaving my fur buddies here when I'm away!

Terry is fabulous! Our two dogs have stayed with him many times, and it's always a great experience. It's clean and comfortable, and our dogs do great in his care, including our little one, who usually gets anxious on her first night away from home. We recommend him!

Taking our dogs to Terrence is one of the best choices we've ever made. Because of his extensive background in dog training and behavior, I know that our slightly quirky dogs are handled with expertise. They each have their spacious crate to stay in, are walked every day, and get plenty of time out and about in the yard. Our family is so grateful to have Terrence to care for our dogs while we're away - it gives us all a sense of security knowing they're well looked after.

Terrence (Terry) was very detailed and informative with his training methods. He also had a fantastic room for the dogs to stay in during their vacation. His dog's version of a hotel room was filled with the aroma of lavender and chamomile. It had turf, spacious cages, and a TV that played a loop of a waterfall. I couldn't ask for more.

My dog was very comfortable. We were even sent a link with pictures so we could see how he was doing. I was put at ease and highly recommend Terrence.

Terrence was great! This was our first time boarding our 4 mo puppy, and we had some nerves leaving her for a while, but Terry reassured us by showing us his passion and knowledge in dog training and boarding during our meet-and-greet. We had several updates letting us know Aki was ok while we were away, and we came back to a very happy and energetic puppy. We were very satisfied and would go with Terry again if we ever need boarding.

I'm so glad I was able to book Terrence for a boarding home for my dog, Topher. He knows a dog's behavior down like a science. He was able to help my dog adapt to a totally new environment without just crating him for the whole week. If my dog ever needs a boarding home for when the family is out for vacations, I will definitely book again with Terrence.

You want Terrance watching your pet. His huge amount of love, devotion, and dedication to his work with your pet matches his experience, professionalism, and skills. My dog has been boarded many places before and typically does fine. This was the first time, however, that when I picked her up, she was so chill and relaxed that I KNEW Terrance would continue to be a top choice for us as a place for her to stay. Terry creates a structured, predictable, safe environment. As a master trainer and behaviorist, Terry was also amazing. I feel completely safe and at ease knowing she's under his care.

This was our first experience using Terrence, and it went pretty smoothly. Terry took good care of our doggy for two weeks. Even though he was a bit farther from where I live/work, I liked that he is a trained professional dog handler and has a system down for caring for pets; it gave me peace of mind that my dog would be taken care of responsibly while I was out of the country.
